Quantos QB1 achieved an official ALA NPA Designation in January 2009. The Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) awarded Quantos a New Product Award, recognizing it as an important breakthrough, based on:

Quantos QB1 was also the winner of a coveted R&D 100 Award in July 2009.  The annual R&D 100 Awards have been recognizing the most technologically significant products of the year since 1963. Winning a prestigious R&D 100 Award provides a mark of excellence known to industry, government, and academia as proof that the product is one of the most innovative ideas of the year.
